Hi, my name is Ellie Childs. I'm a graphic designer that specialises in illustration. After receiving a first Class BA Honours degree in Graphic Design, I went on to receive two commendations for my illustrative work from two graduate showcases: including the DandAd Newblood "Ones to watch" 2020 and being interviewed by Creative Review as part of their 2020 Gradwatch series.
I like to work with texture and angles, which I use to create quite distinctive faces and profiles. Normally, I work with bright and sometimes unusual colour palettes. Through a more experimental colour palette, I try to push my illustration work. I enjoy drawing characters and building different personalities into each of them through my choice of colour, their clothing and poses. I like to blend essences of 2d and 3d through the use of texture to create depth, shadow and light into my work.
